Hello Everyone,
As mentioned previously, the city removed the camera that was being used to monitor the pickleball line. However, I have a new idea for estimating how busy the courts are without relying on a camera.
This approach uses sensors instead of video monitoring, which addresses privacy concerns while still providing an estimate of court activity. The sensors are somewhat expensive and will require some calibration and testing to determine how accurately they reflect court usage, but I believe they could be a viable privacy-friendly alternative.
